This Privacy Policy explains how SUSHI 2 GO (“we”, “us”, or “our”)
collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal information when you use
our website, mobile application, and food delivery and takeaway services. It is written
to comply with the Google Play Store Developer Program Policies, including
the User Data policy and Data Safety requirements, as well as applicable data-protection laws.
By using our app, website, or services, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to take your order, deliver your food, and improve our service. The categories of personal data we may collect include:
Identity & contact data: your name, phone number, email address, and delivery address — provided when you place an order or create an account.
Order information: the items you order, order history, special instructions, and preferences.
Approximate & precise location: when you grant permission, your device location is used to set your delivery address and estimate delivery time and distance.
Payment information: for online payments, transactions are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
Device & usage data: device model, operating system, app version, language settings, and anonymous usage analytics that help us fix bugs and improve performance.
Communications: messages, feedback, or support requests you send to us.
2. How we use your information
We use your personal information for the following purposes only:
To receive, prepare, process, and deliver your sushi orders.
To contact you about your order, delivery status, or support requests.
To process payments and prevent fraudulent transactions.
To operate, maintain, and improve our app, website, and services.
To personalise menu recommendations and remember your preferences.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to providing our food delivery and takeaway service.
3. How we share information
We share personal data only as necessary to operate our service, and only with parties bound to protect it:
Delivery riders: your name, delivery address, and phone number are shared with the rider assigned to your order so they can deliver it.
Payment processors: to securely complete online transactions.
Service providers: hosting, analytics, and messaging providers that help us run the app, under confidentiality obligations.
Legal authorities: where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our customers or our business.
We never share your data with advertisers or data brokers for their independent marketing.
4. Device permissions
Our mobile app may request the following device permissions. Each is optional where possible, and used only for the stated purpose:
Location: to set your delivery address and estimate delivery times.
Notifications: to send order confirmations and delivery updates.
Camera / Photos (optional): only if you choose to upload an image when contacting support.
You can change or revoke any permission at any time in your device settings.
5. Data security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and secure handling of payment data through PCI-compliant processors. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we work continuously to safeguard your data against unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described in this policy — for example, to complete your order, maintain order history, comply with tax and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it. You may request deletion of your account data at any time (see “Your rights & choices”).
7. Your rights & choices
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Withdraw consent for optional permissions such as location or notifications.
Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, or to request account deletion, contact us using the details in the “Contact us” section. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
9. Third-party services
Our app and website may rely on trusted third-party services — such as map and location providers, payment gateways, cloud hosting, and analytics tools — each governed by its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review those policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of services we do not control.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
